Biography [CV]
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at
Georgia Institute of Technology, where I work with
Prof. Zhigang Peng.
My research bridges observational seismology and artificial intelligence to improve how we detect, characterize,
and interpret signals generated by earthquakes, the environment, and human activity.
My current work spans earthquake monitoring and source processes, environmental and urban seismology,
and AI-enabled geophysical analysis. I develop graph neural networks, foundation models, multimodal learning methods,
and physics-informed workflows for phase picking, association, location, seismic interpretation, and high-resolution
earthquake catalogs.
I received my Ph.D. in Geophysics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2024 under the supervision
of Prof. Xinming Wu, in collaboration with
Prof. Zefeng Li. I earned an M.Sc. in Geophysics from
China University of Geosciences (Beijing) in 2020 and a B.Eng.
in Geophysics from China University of Geosciences in 2017.
Research interests: earthquake monitoring; environmental and anthropogenic seismology; earthquake source processes; graph neural networks; foundation models; multimodal geophysical learning.
